Jorge Martín Valle (b. 1981), musicologist and choral director, is specialised in Renaissance and Early Baroque Music. Since 2005 he has published and researched about composers as Maistre Jhan, Alonso de Tejeda, Sebastián de Vivanco or Antonio Mortaro.
He has published several articles and lectured about Symbolism and Analysis of Early Music: Music relating to the Virgin Mary and Women: images of suffering and beauty in the sound of Renaissance Music (2008); The “swansongs” of Nicolas Gombert: the eight Magnificats in manuscript M 2433. An analytical study (2011), Giorno Felice: the Unpublished Madrigal by Diego Ortiz in the Francesco Baseo Primo libro de madrigali (2011) and Symbolism in the Music of Tomás Luis de Victoria (2013).
